a new year

this goes out to one of my best friends.
great traditional new years eve parties at his place,
good memories of new years eve parties with him at other places.
and every year right after midnight we two were sitting together
and listening to this special song while the others were out watching
the fireworks.
will listen to it tonight,
unfortunately without you.
